According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics, kids should have their first visit to the dentist about six months after the first tooth erupts – this is usually at around the age of one (1). At this first visit, the team at Sol Dental will engage in an oral exam, fluoride treatment, and educate parents on the correct way to brush and floss their child’s teeth. Additionally, we will examine your child’s teeth and review their medical history, addressing any concerns you have.
Yes – contemporary x-rays use minimal amounts of radiation for image capture. Our state of the art digital x-ray equipment ensures you and your family will be exposed to significantly lowered amounts of radiation as compared to traditional machines.
